POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
DISCIPLINING OF MEMBERS, ASSIGNEES, DEPENDENTS AND GUESTS
I. PURPOSE
To provide a healthy, safe and harmonious environment for members, dependents and their distinguished guests.
II. POLICY STATEMENT

- To ensure that infractions in the Club Rules and Regulations, the By-Laws and/ or other policies are reported.
- To impose appropriate penalties for any reported infraction and/ or breach of conduct.
III. ENFORCEMENT
1.1. A complaint against any member, assignee or dependent MUST be in a form of writing by personal service or registered mail, addressed to the Membership Committee, through the General Manager.
1.2. A member, assignee or dependent shall be given an opportunity to be heard by the Membership Committee to show cause why he/ she should not be disciplined. He / She will be requested to submit his/her explanation within ten (10) days after the committee’s notice to the member.
1.3. Upon receipt of the explanation of the member, assignee or dependent, the Membership Committee will schedule a hearing, which shall, in no event be less than ten (10) days from receipt of the explanation. Non appearance of the erring member shall mean waiver of his/her right to be heard.
1.4. While the complaint is still being investigated by the Membership Committee, the member, assignee or dependent shall enjoy all the membership privileges that he/ she is entitled prior to the complaint.
2. Upon recommendation of the Membership Committee, any member, assignee, dependent or guest may be suspended or expelled by majority vote of the Board of Directors (BOD), for any infraction of the Club Rules and Regulations, the By-Laws, or other regulations and/ or resolutions of the Club, or for breach of conduct of members, dependents and guests, which the BOD may deem disorderly or injurious to the interest of the Club, other members and employees of the Club, provided however, that the prior to the suspension, restriction or expulsion, offending member shall be entitled to a notice and hearing before the Membership Committee.
3. When a member is suspended, his/her dependents and sponsored guests, shall automatically lose Club privileges. He/She, along with his/her dependents and sponsored guests will not be allowed to enter the Club premises during the suspension.
4. When a member is expelled, he/ she WILL not be allowed to enter the Club premises. Further, an expelled member is forever disqualified from applying for membership or being a guest.
5. No member and assignee shall be entitled to a refund of any membership deposit, dues or any other fees on account of any such restriction, suspension or termination of membership privileges. During the restriction or suspension, dues and other charges shall continue to accrue and shall be paid in full prior to reinstatement as a member in good standing.
6. Applicable to Dependents: a dependent may be subjected to a warning, a suspension or cancellation of Club privileges for such period of time, or on a permanent basis, for committing infractions.
7. Applicable to Guests: Club privileges will be cancelled without notice to the guest. Offending guest is forever disqualified from applying for membership or being a guest.
IV. PENALTIES
The membership privileges may be restricted, suspended or terminated by the BOD if in the sole judgment of the BOD, the member, assignee, dependent or guest, subject to due process:

Delinquency | Proprietary and corporate members in the delinquent list for more than 60 days shall be reported to the Board for auction sale of their certificate under Section 3 of the By-Laws.
Any member, including assignees, in the delinquent list shall be deemed automatically suspended and shall not be allowed to use the facilities of the Club. His/her guests will also lose his/her guest privileges. |

3. Conduct & Behavior and Violations of the General House Rules
The Club will observe the following penalties in the infractions stated below:

3.1. Exhibited unsatisfactory behavior and appearance and/ or engaged in conduct that is improper or likely to endanger the welfare, safety, harmony or reputation of the Club, its members and employees, including false accusations against any member and employee.
3.2. Treated the employee of the Club in an unreasonable or abusive manner.
3.3. Members in possession of and under the influence of prohibited drugs.
3.4. Unlicensed Carrying of Firearms and Deadly Weapons inside the Club
3.5. Infraction of any of the Club Rules and Regulations, By-Laws, policies and other regulations and resolutions.
3.6. Defacing or damaging the Club property.
3.7. Bringing in of Pets in the Club.
3.8. Bringing in of Food in the Club without approval from the General Manager.
3.9. Unauthorized posting of materials on the Club’s bulletin boards, etc.
3.10. Illegal Gambling; smoking in prohibited areas.
3.11. Use of skateboard, roller skates, ball and other conduct that is dangerous or disturbing in the Club and its members.
V. APPEAL BY MEMBER
A member or assignee who was suspended or expelled may appeal to a general or special meeting of Proprietary Members whose decision shall be final (ref: By-Laws, Sec. 36).
VI. RESPONSIBLITY

- The Membership Committee must exercise due process at all times.
- The Membership Department must document all complaints and decisions.
- The Membership Department must treat all information in strict confidentiality.
